The case does not protect the corners too well.
The IMEI number can be used to identify former owners of this phone through the service carrier, T-Mobile.
How did these occur?
There is little protection for all 4 corners.

The hinge is very wobbly denoting heavy usage or abuse as well. I have two other different color Razr’s obtained in better condition from eBay which I have compared this phone with. Belt clip was not sent with leather holster and that is normally included with holster.

2. Seller will refund $72 + return Fedex Ground charges (approximately $8.50 with tracking number and insurance for buyer protection) to buyer first. Buyer will send Razr and accessories back to seller.
OR
3. If #1. or #2. is not agreed upon on or before September 5 when the buyer must pay Paypal Buyer Credit (GE Consumer Finance) for this purchase, buyer will chargeback the amount to GE Consumer Finance and send supporting information to them (email correspondence, pictures, and this webpage).

The reply to my email accused me of being mildly retarded and did not address the condition of the phone. All throughout the email exchange, she never directly answered my concerns and questions. She ranted about the free leather case, etc., etc. This is the URL of the eBay auction. Be warned.

I called GE Money Bank (Paypal Buyer Credit administrator) to get a $72 chargeback as I will not go through the less than useful Paypal Claims Process as it requires me to send the item back at my expense while trusting the seller to refund me - obviously it would not work as the seller is not willing to even discuss the “perfect” phone she sent me.
Renato wanted me to send the item back to the seller with a tracking number. I told Renato I went through this chargeback process as Paypal would not payI me for the return shipping to the seller. He agreed to credit me the $8.50 I asked for FedEx Ground. I’m not out any money, but lost a lot of time and opportunity with other auctions / craigslist.com dealing with this “lady.” She got away with this without as much as a scratch, although she got negative feedback from me.
Paypal and eBay is ripe for fraud. The buyer can be out for shipping and return shipping for a Significantly Not as Described item according to their User Agreement. I looked at the July 2007 document and they changed it in August 2007 again.

I am not going to the time and effort to open up a Paypal dispute on non-delivery of the phone. If I do not get a reply from you today AND if I do not get a tracking number by Monday and if the phone is not in my hands by Wednesday, I will file a credit card chargeback. The problem with this transaction is you do cannot (or will not) provide me with a tracking number and how you sent it as I have requested earlier in 2 emails. Based on your not providing that info, what proof is there that it has been sent. If I start a claim with Paypal, surely they would request the same information from you as well.- jacklew
no tracking number was purchased. i have a receipt that has your city state and zip on it and how much the postage cost. i never said i purchased a tracking number, although i did intend to, but i got to the post office too late and had to puy the postage off of one of those damn machines that are annoying as hell. - coronado092404

I just thought you printed the label through Paypal and got a free Delivery Confirmation which you were going to provide. But if you sent it Parcel Post last Saturday, it should be here Saturday - latest by Monday if it was sent after the last pickup. Water under the bridge, but all these emails would have been avoided if you had just told me you sent it on a certain day. Really you only said that in your last email. My fault is I'm an engineer so I'm flawed anyway. :)

I received the phone on Saturday. It works with no problems. Thank you for including the case and car charger. Do you have the plastic swivel clip that goes with this as it wasn't in the package?
You also described "this phone is in perfect condition". I expected some wear and tear - a few light scratches here or there, but there are numerous flaws.
The 2 bottom front corners are bashed in as if somebody had dropped it - the paint has chipped off so the black plastic shows.
Heavy scratches on the top right corner of the battery cover so the aluminum is visible.
Top right has deep scrapes on silver paint that the black shows.
Top left has a 1/4" long crack. Looks like it was dropped there also.
Obviously, I'm not too happy about the phone's condition as it falls under the "Significantly Not as Described" part of the Paypal User Agreement. I guess we need to work something out with this transaction.

Did you carefully look at the phone before you sent it to me? I'm happy paying $72 for the phone you described, but I did not receive a 'perfect' phone nor even one with acceptable wear and tear but a phone that shows evidence of being dropped, scraped, etc. If you don't want pictures that fine, but I only have this Miami Ink phone and no other Miami Ink phone, I won't send you any. i used that phone every day and every day it had the cover on it. how could a phone that was always in my purse or pocket or BRA have scrapes, bashes and crap like you describe? Especially since it always had a cover over it to protect it?
